You’ll find us in Sarfarazganj, which is a busy part of Lucknow. The campus is quite large because we have both the medical college and the hospital functioning in the same spot. It’s a very hectic place to be most days. From early morning, the OPD is crowded with people coming in from all over the state for help. There are students everywhere, carrying their books and stethoscopes, trying to get to their next class or clinical rotation on time. It’s a bit like a maze if you aren't used to the layout of the buildings. The hospital smells of antiseptic and cafeteria food, which is just part of the life here. We have been here for years, and the buildings have that lived-in look that comes with constant use. It isn't a quiet or polished environment; it’s a working hospital where things happen fast and decisions are made every minute. The parking lot is always full, and there’s a constant stream of people at the main gates. We have our own rhythm here in the 226006 area. The staff works long hours, and you can see the exhaustion on their faces sometimes, but they just keep going because people depend on them.
