Our office is situated right at the Charbagh Railway Station in Lucknow, specifically in Shop No.174 of the Gurunanak Market. If you know Charbagh, you know it’s the busiest place in the whole city. There’s a constant flow of people, trains, and rickshaws, so it’s never quiet around here. We work out of this small shop where we help travelers with car rentals and planning their trips. It’s a lot of quick work because most people are either just getting off a train or trying to catch one. We spend most of our time answering the phone and talking to people who walk in with their luggage and questions. The office is pretty basic, just a desk and some chairs, but it’s right where the action is. We have to keep a close eye on the train timings to make sure our drivers are ready when they need to be. It’s a very busy life, and we don’t get much of a break during the day. Sometimes the heat and the noise can be a bit much, but we’ve been here for a long time and it’s just part of our routine now. We don’t do any flashy advertising; we just stay at our spot near the station and wait for the next person who needs a ride. It’s honest, fast-paced work in the heart of Lucknow’s transport hub, and we just try to keep up with the constant rush.
