Dr N K Misra'S Eye Clinic is located on Tulsi Das Marg in the Chauk area. Chauk is always crowded and full of life, and our clinic is right in the middle of it. We focus on eyes, so we have a lot of charts on the walls and those specialized chairs for exams. The place isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. It can get a bit cramped when several families come in at once, but we manage. We’ve been on Tulsi Das Marg for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; we just have a small counter where we take down names. People come here because they know the doctor and they know we are right in their neighborhood. We see a lot of elderly folks from the Chauk area who need help with their vision. It’s a lot of testing, checking lenses, and explaining things in plain English or the local tongue. We don’t use flashy advertisements. Most people just walk in because they were passing by or someone told them about us. It is a very hands-on job, and things can get quite hectic during the middle of the day. We just keep our heads down and keep working until the last patient is seen and we can lock up the clinic for the night.
