Down here at 9C/217 Vrindavan Colony, Dr. Laxmi Kant Gupta Clinic has been part of the neighborhood for a good while. The address is a bit repetitive on the maps, but we are right there in the middle of the colony. It’s a small place, really. We see neighbors mostly, people who live right here in Vrindavan Colony. It’s a local clinic, nothing more, nothing less. Dr. Laxmi Kant Gupta spends most of his day in the small office area. People stop by for all sorts of things, maybe a cold, or just to get their blood pressure checked. It feels more like a house than a big medical center because it is right in a residential block. We don’t have fancy signs or big marketing stuff going on. We just open the door in the morning and wait for whoever needs help. Sometimes the power goes out, or the street gets noisy, but we just keep working through it. It’s a very plain, honest sort of setup. Most people who come in have known us for years. We know their names and their kids' names too. It’s a basic clinic for basic needs. We don’t try to be something we aren't. If you’re around 9C/217, you’ll see the small sign near the gate. We’re just here doing the daily work of a colony doctor. You can just walk in, no need for anything complicated. We keep things simple for everyone in the colony.
