Dr C P Bajpai Clinic is tucked away at number 18/50 in Indira Nagar, right near Dabble College in Sector 18 of Lucknow. It’s a familiar part of the neighborhood for those who have lived here for a while. Being close to the college means we see a lot of students walking by, though our patients are usually the older residents from the sector. The space is fairly small, just enough for a desk, a couple of chairs, and a small area for examinations. We have been in Sector 18 for a long time, and the building shows its age a little, but it serves its purpose. There is a lot of activity on the street outside, especially when the college sessions start or end for the day. Finding the clinic isn't too hard once you spot the Dabble College landmark. Inside, the walls have a few posters and the lighting is just regular tube lights. We don't have a lot of staff, usually just one person at the front and the doctor. The waiting area can get a bit cramped if three or four people arrive at the same time. We keep the patient files in some old metal cabinets against the wall. It’s a very local, practical setup where people come for their regular prescriptions or a quick consultation. The Lucknow heat can get a bit much, so we have a ceiling fan that stays on most of the day to keep the air moving.
