Being in the industrial area of Aish Bagh in Lucknow is a bit different from being out in the open fields. Our address at 6A is surrounded by other shops and small factories. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the trucks and people moving around the neighborhood. We work with food products, specifically agro foods, but we don't try to sound more important than we are. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of bags and equipment taking up space in the corners. Lucknow has its own pace, and here in the industrial zone, things move pretty fast every single day. We spend our time checking on the quality of the grains and making sure the processing is going the way it should be. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of orders on scraps of paper sometimes when the computer isn't working right. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We drink a lot of chai from the stall down the street while we wait for deliveries to arrive. It is a practical business. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby for guests. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available at the desk. We handle the supply chain stuff so the farmers don't have to worry about it as much. It is just honest work in a busy city.
