Dept Of Anaeschesia Command Hospital

We are the Dept Of Anaeschesia at the Command Hospital on Cariappa Road in Lucknow Cantt. Being in the Cantt area means things are a bit more organized outside, but inside the hospital, it’s as busy as any other. Our department is responsible for all the anesthesia stuff for the surgeries and procedures that happen here. It’s a military hospital, so there is a certain way things are done, but we’re still just people at the end of the day. Cariappa Road is a nice part of Lucknow with all the trees, which is a bit of a break from the busy hospital atmosphere. We spend a lot of our time in the operating theaters where it’s quiet and cold. Then we go back to our desks to catch up on all the notes. It’s not a job with a lot of downtime. We’ve all been working here for a while and we know the routine inside out. The building has been here for a long time and has a lot of history to it. We don’t really talk much about ourselves, we just make sure the patients are ready for their operations. It’s a lot of monitoring and checking machines. We’re a solid team and we just get through the daily schedule as it comes. That’s pretty much life for us here in Lucknow Cantt. We keep things moving and stay focused on what needs to happen.
