Our office for Defiance Agrisciences Private Limited is in a place called Jiamau, right at 1/20 New Colony. If you are looking for us, we are basically right in front of the Atta Chakki. You can usually hear the sound of the flour mill running across the way while we are working. It’s a very local feel in this part of Lucknow. The office itself is pretty basic. We focus on the science part of agriculture, which means a lot of looking at samples and checking things over and over. It isn't the most glamorous job, but it is important for the crops in this region. The New Colony area is a bit tucked away, which is nice because it’s not as loud as the main city streets in Lko. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but we just sweep it out and keep going. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting people. Usually, someone just looks up from their desk when you walk through the door. We have been here for a while and the neighbors all know what we do. It’s a practical setup for a practical kind of business. We spend our days worrying about soil health and how to keep pests away without ruining everything. It is just honest work done by people who grew up around here and understand the local land.
