Sips Hospital Burns & Trauma Centre

Sips Hospital Burns & Trauma Centre is located at No. 29 on Shahmeena Road. We are quite close to KGMU, so the area is always full of people and vehicles. The building stays busy around the clock because that is just the nature of what happens here. There is always a nurse or a technician walking down the halls, and the lights never really go out. It is not a quiet place, but it is functional. We have the usual hospital smell of cleaning supplies and medicine. The rooms are kept as tidy as possible, though things get hectic when a lot of people arrive at once. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Shahmeena Road can be a bit of a nightmare for parking, so we usually tell people to come early or be patient. Our staff has been working together for a long while, and we all know the routine. It is tough work dealing with trauma cases, and it can be draining, but we just get on with it. There isn't any fancy decor here, just the equipment we need and the beds for the patients. We drink a lot of tea in the breakroom when there is a spare minute. It’s a serious place, but we try to keep a calm head. Most people who come here are going through a hard time, so we just try to do our bit without a lot of fuss.
