Chocolate Island Confectionery Llp

Chocolate Island Confectionery is based in Bashant Vihar Colony. We’re up in Flat 201. It’s a small operation, but we manage to get a lot done in this space. We started making chocolates and sweets because it was something we actually enjoyed doing. Now, it’s a full-time job. The kitchen is usually the busiest part of the whole place. We have bags of cocoa and sugar tucked away in every corner. It gets pretty warm when the tempering is going on. We don't have a storefront where you can just walk in and browse. It’s more of a workshop where we fulfill orders. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in foil and boxes. We aren't some massive factory producing thousands of bars an hour. It’s more about the individual batches we do. We’ve had to learn everything as we went along. Some of the early experiments didn't turn out so great, but that’s how you learn. We just wanted to make something decent for the neighborhood. It’s a lot of long hours standing up. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us who know the routine. It’s a messy business, but it keeps us busy. We just keep working away here in the colony, making sure the orders go out on time. There is something about the smell of chocolate that never really gets old, even after a long shift.
