Jai Mata Furniture

Jai Mata Furniture is located at 631/26, right opposite Gate No. 3 of the New High Court. We are in the Ismailgang area, near the Diamond Hotel on Faizabad Road. Our workshop is usually full of the smell of freshly cut wood and the loud sound of saws. We have a lot of half-finished chairs, cupboards, and tables standing around waiting for polish. It’s always a bit dusty because of all the sanding we do by hand, but that’s just part of the furniture business. Being near the High Court means there’s always a lot of people and cars passing by our front door. We often have people wandering in just to look at what we’re making today. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and glass windows. It’s more of a working space where things actually get built from scratch. We use a lot of manual tools and some old machines that have been with us since we started. Sometimes the traffic on Faizabad Road is so loud we have to shout just to hear each other talk. We’ve got a small area in the front where we show a few finished pieces, but mostly it’s just piles of wood planks and shavings on the floor. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. It’s a simple business making things for people’s homes and offices. We stay busy with various orders and trying to keep all the wood dust under control as best as we can every day. It’s just how we work.
