About Green Earth Recycling – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Lucknow
We set up Green Earth Recycling over at Khasra No. 181 in Village Shahpur, near Chinhat. It’s an open kind of place because we need the room for all the materials that come in. You’ll see piles of different things waiting to be sorted out. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving stuff from one pile to another and making sure things are separated correctly. We get all sorts of scrap delivered here by various collectors. The yard is usually a bit muddy if it’s rained recently, which makes moving the heavy bins a real pain. We have a few machines to help with the processing, but a lot of it is just hands-on work. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and our clothes definitely show that by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy office building, just a small shed where we keep our tools and a notebook for the weights. The sun can be pretty brutal out in the yard, so we try to do the heaviest lifting in the early morning hours. People in the village know us as the place where the old stuff goes to be turned into something useful again. It’s a busy environment with tractors and small trucks coming in and out at odd hours. We just aim to stay organized and keep the piles from getting too high. Dealing with waste is tough work, but it keeps us busy and the yard moving along nicely.
