Riddhi Flight Case

We set up shop at 289/240 Moti Nagar, right in the Dhobighat area of Lucknow. We are directly opposite the Punjab Tent House, so that’s the easiest way to find us if you’re looking. It’s a noisy place because we are always cutting wood or hammering metal to make these flight cases. There’s sawdust everywhere no matter how much we sweep. We started Riddhi Flight Case because we liked building things that could take a beating. The workshop is crowded with tools and half-finished boxes. We don't have a showroom, so if you come by, you’re basically standing right where the work happens. Sometimes the smell of the glue is a bit strong, so we keep the big front door open. The guys from the tent house across the street often come over to borrow a tool or just to see what we are working on. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the orders moving out the door on time. It’s not a fancy business, just a lot of sweat and calloused hands. Lucknow gets very hot in the middle of the year, so we usually start very early in the morning to get the hard work done before noon. It’s an honest way to make a living and we like being in this neighborhood. We just keep building until the day is done.
