There is always a lot of honking and people moving about right outside our front door. The hospital itself is a straightforward building. We’ve been here long enough that most of the rickshaw drivers know exactly where to drop people off. Inside, it’s usually humming with activity. We have the regular wards and the doctors' cabins, and it looks like a typical local hospital. We don't have those fancy leather sofas in the waiting room, just the standard benches that are easy to clean. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we have the fans and the coolers going to keep everyone as comfortable as we can. Working at a place like this in Lucknow means you see everything. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours for the nurses and the rest of us. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the people who are coming in from the Mohaal Road area. It’s a busy life at the crossroads, and we are just trying to keep up with the daily flow of patients. It’s a bit noisy and a bit hectic, but that’s just how Buddheshwer Hospital is.
