Body Basic Gym & Music Dance Academy is tucked away in Aashiyana, Lucknow. We are on the 3rd Floor of the Shubham Complex, which is Hig 853. Sector I Road is right outside. Most people know the HDFC Bank nearby, so that’s how they usually find their way to us. Being on the third floor means a bit of a climb, which I guess is good for a gym. It’s a bit of a mix here because we have the music and dance going on alongside the weights. You might hear some drums while someone is lifting or a bit of music while others are working out. The 226012 area is a nice part of Lucknow. Shubham Complex isn't anything fancy, just a regular commercial building. We have been here for a bit and have seen kids coming for dance and their parents heading to the gym section. It’s a bit noisy, but in a good way. The fans are always humming to keep the air moving. We don’t have a big reception desk or anyone in a suit greeting you. You just walk up the stairs and you’re there. It feels like a neighborhood spot because it is. We know the shopkeepers downstairs and the bank staff too. It’s just a busy, loud, and active place where we do our thing every day and try to keep the mirrors clean and the music from getting too loud for the neighbors.
