You can find us in Sector 8, specifically C/328 in Vindavan Yojana. This area is still growing and there is a lot of construction going on around us. Our place is tucked away and sometimes people have a bit of trouble finding the exact house number. We do a lot of creative work here, mostly focused on traditional styles from the Lucknow region. There are usually a few of us sitting around with hoops and needles working on embroidery. It is quiet work but it is steady. We do not have a big sign outside or anything like that. It feels more like a home than an office most of the time. The light in the front room is the brightest for seeing the fine stitches, so that is where we spend most of the daylight hours. We have boxes of thread in every color you can think of stacked against the walls. Sometimes we run out of a specific shade and someone has to head out to the market to find a match. It is a slow pace of life here. We do not really do big advertising or anything. People usually hear about us from someone else. We just try to finish the work on time and make sure it looks right before it goes out. It is a small operation in a quiet neighborhood and that suits us just fine. Most days we are just happy to get through the pile of orders we have sitting on the table.
