Ashok Provision Store And General Store is located at Shop Lgf 88 near the Engineering College Chauraha in Lucknow. Being in this part of the city means we get a lot of students and local families coming through all the time. The chauraha is always loud with traffic, but inside the shop, we just focus on getting the groceries and supplies sorted out. We carry a bit of everything, from basic food items to the small things like pens or snacks that students often look for. It is not a huge space, so sometimes we have boxes stacked up in the corners while we wait for a chance to put everything away. My hands usually end up a bit dusty from moving the sacks of flour and rice around. We do not do anything fancy here, it is just a regular shop for everyday needs. When the electricity goes out, which happens sometimes, we just sit with a torch and keep things moving. Most of our customers are regulars from the nearby hostels or the houses around here. They know exactly where we keep the tea leaves or the biscuits, so they often just grab what they need and bring it to the counter. We keep the doors open from morning until late evening. It is just a practical way to earn a living and help the people around the Engineering College get their daily essentials.
