Ashish Tours &Trave is based in Shop No-54 in the Charbagh area. If you’ve ever been to the main post office around there, you know how busy it gets. Charbagh is the heart of Lucknow because of the railway station, so there is always a crowd. Our shop is quite small, but it’s right in the middle of all that action. We have a lot of people dropping in who just got off a train and need to get somewhere else. The noise from the horns and the people outside is something we hear all day long. We keep our records in big thick books because it’s easier to grab them when things get hurried. There isn't much room for anything extra, just a desk, a fan, and a place to sit. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction and traffic nearby, but we keep the place as tidy as we can. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting cars ready and making sure people reach their destinations. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but we just keep talking to the customers. It’s a hectic life here in Charbagh, but we’ve been doing this from Shop 54 for a long time and we know the rhythm of the place.
