Ashirwad Clinic

Our clinic, Ashirwad Clinic, is located in Keshav Nagar, right off Sitapur Road here in Lucknow. If you know where the Central Bank is, we are very close to that. The building is actually called Ashirwad too, which makes it easy for people to find us once they get into the lane. It’s a pretty standard setup for a neighborhood clinic. We have a small room for consultations and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are clean enough. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly local residents who have lived in Lucknow for years. It’s the kind of place where people stop to chat for a minute even if they aren't feeling too bad. We try to stay focused on the work, though. Dealing with seasonal coughs and stomach issues keeps us pretty busy most of the year. The traffic on Sitapur Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually see a rush of people right before we close up. We don't have any fancy online booking systems or anything like that. People just show up, wait their turn, and we see them as fast as we can. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it seems to work for the folks around here. We just take it one day at a time, keeping things running as best as we can.
