Alok Clinic

Alok Clinic has been operating out of the Alambagh area in Lucknow for a good while. We are specifically in Madhuvan Nagar, which is quite close to Chauri Sadak. If you’ve ever been to Alambagh, you know how packed the streets can get with shoppers and rickshaws. Our clinic is right in the thick of that. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside or the inside. We have a modest waiting area and a couple of rooms where we see people. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but for now, they are fine. Most of our visitors are people who live in the narrow lanes nearby. They walk over because it’s convenient. We don’t really do any big advertising; people just know we are here by word of mouth. The sounds of the market and the nearby traffic are a constant background noise for us. We keep a simple schedule and try to see everyone who comes in before we close for the evening. It’s a lot of everyday health issues that we deal with. The staff is small, usually just one or two of us helping out. We spend time making sure the registers are filled out and the medicines are where they should be. It’s a practical, local clinic that fits right into the busy life of Alambagh. We aren't trying to be anything other than a neighborhood medical spot. We just keep the door open and wait for the neighbors to stop by whenever they need to.
