Prabal Drug De-Addiction & Psychiatric Hospital

We are located at Sp-21 in Chetan Vihar Colony, right over in Sector C. It’s near the Regional Service Centre, so it’s not too hard to find if you know that part of town. Prabal Drug De-Addiction & Psychiatric Hospital is a place where we try to help people who are going through some really tough times. The building is a quiet one, which is important for the kind of work we do here. It’s not a fancy medical center with high-tech gadgets at every turn. It’s more of a place where people can stay and talk. We have some rooms for the residents and a communal area where we spend a lot of time. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and we have some plants in the corners to make it feel a bit more like home. Our staff includes people who have been doing this for a long time. We don't use a lot of medical jargon when we talk to families. We just tell them what the situation is and what we're trying to do. It’s heavy work sometimes, and the days can be long. We have a small garden area in the back where people can sit and get some fresh air. It’s not a park, but it’s something. We just keep things running, making sure everyone is fed and looked after. It’s a quiet life in Chetan Vihar, but we feel it’s important. We don't have a big marketing plan, we just open our doors every morning and do our best for whoever walks in.
