Chandra Hospital

If you head over to Sector-K, you’ll find Chandra Hospital right near the Puraniya Railway Crossing. The location is a bit unique because you can hear the trains passing by throughout the day. It’s a sound we have all grown accustomed to, and it almost feels strange when it's silent. The hospital itself is a straightforward building that has been part of the landscape for a long time. People come here for their regular checkups or when something isn't feeling right. The lobby has some basic seating and a small television that is usually turned to the news. We have a team of nurses and helpers who keep the place moving. They spend their time walking the halls and checking in on the rooms. It’s not the most modern facility you’ll ever see, but it’s clean and it works. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just open up in the morning, see who needs help, and do our best to get them sorted out. The doctors have their own small offices where they talk to patients. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, especially when the trains cause a bit of a backup at the crossing and the staff gets in a few minutes late. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People in Sector-K and the surrounding areas just know we are here by the tracks. It’s a practical place for the community, and we like it that way.
