Ahmad Men

Ahmad Men is located at 73, Sunderagh Road, right in the heart of Maqbul Ganj. We are very close to the post office, which is how most people describe our location when they’re giving directions to their friends. Lucknow is a big city, but this little corner of Maqbul Ganj feels like its own small world. Our shop is a place where men can come in for a quick shave or a haircut without having to wait too long. We have a few chairs lined up and a big mirror that covers most of the wall. It’s not a polished corporate salon. It’s just a neighborhood barber shop. We’ve got the usual combs, clippers, and scissors that we’ve used for years. The floor is tile and we try to keep it clean, though hair piles up quickly when it’s busy. Usually, there’s a bit of chatter going on about local events or the weather. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. People just know we are here because they walk past us every day on their way to the post office or the market. We take our work seriously but we keep the atmosphere relaxed. If someone wants a specific style, we do our best with what we have. It’s a simple setup and that’s how we like it. We’ve been here a long time and we hope to stay. It is just us doing what we know.
