Adil Tanning Industries

Our business, Adil Tanning Industries, is on the second floor of Madina Mansion in Moulvi Ganj. It’s an old building, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings that keep the heat out a little bit. Getting up to the second floor is a bit of a climb because there isn't an elevator. We’ve been in this space for a long time. Tanning is a tough business, and our office reflects that. It’s not a place for luxury. We have some old wooden desks and stacks of files that go back years. The smell of leather is always around, even if we aren't doing the heavy work right in this room. Moulvi Ganj is a crowded area, so there is always the sound of rickshaws and people shouting below. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or modern decorations. We prefer to keep things as they have always been. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the windows, but we just put a bucket down and keep working. It’s an honest trade. We deal with suppliers and buyers all day long. It’s messy and hard, but it’s what we have been doing for a long time. No need for anything more than a solid roof and work to do. We like the history of this old mansion.
