Our place is at 301, Karbali Cikan. It’s where we handle all the chikan work. If you know this area, you know how much history there is with this kind of embroidery. We aren't a massive factory. It’s more of a focused operation where we manage the pieces coming in and out. Most of us have been around this trade for a long time. It’s not always quiet here, things can get pretty hectic when we have a lot of orders to move. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s just an office and a work area. We spend a lot of time checking the threads and making sure the fabric is okay. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do. It’s just the way it is. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or marketing. We just do the work. The building is easy enough to find if you’re in the neighborhood. We’ve been here for a bit now and people know where to find us. It’s a local business through and through. We work with the artisans and try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of small details. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do every day. It's how we’ve always operated. We're just a small team trying to keep the tradition alive in our own way.
