We are located over in Palmerganj, which is right in Lohardaga. The office is at Afroz Ahmad’s place. It’s easy enough to find if you know the area near the post office and the police station. We’ve been operating out of this part of Jharkhand for some time now. It’s a quiet enough spot, mostly. We handle the daily business here without much noise. It is just a regular office where we sit down and figure out the logistics for Adliki India. We don’t have a giant staff, just a few of us who know how to get things done. Some mornings we start early with tea and a look at the week's goals. Lohardaga has its own pace, and we tend to follow it. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we just want to do our part and keep the business healthy. The files are organized, more or less, and we make sure the bills get paid. If you walk by, you might see us working at the desks through the window. It is a straightforward setup. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We'd rather spend our time making sure the work is finished correctly. It’s a local business, run by local people who care about what they are doing. We try to keep the coffee hot and the records straight. It’s not a bad way to make a living in this part of the country.
