The Journey Master

We are at shop 22 in the Hemis Complex over in Zangsti. People in Leh know this spot well. It's a busy part of the town. We spend most of our days here handling trips and talking to travelers who walk in. The Journey Master isn't a big office with lots of glass. It’s a practical space. We’ve been in Leh Ladakh for a while now. The air is thin up here but the views from outside our door are something else. Sometimes the internet is slow and the electricity goes out, but that’s just how things are in 194101. We focus on the roads and the passes. If you are looking for us, just head toward the complex. We know the routes around here because we live here. We don't do fancy talks. We just arrange the cars or the bikes and tell you where the road is rough. Zangsti is a good place to be based. You see the mountains every morning when you open the shutters. We keep some maps around and usually have tea going. It's a small setup. We don't have a huge staff. Just a couple of us making sure everything moves. People ask about the weather a lot. We tell them what we see. It’s honest work. Nothing more. We aren't here to be corporate. Just helping folks get around the mountains.
