T. L. Construction Company

T. L. Construction Company is based up in Leh Ladakh, right in the Paldan Complex on Fort Road. We are quite close to the old bus stand, which is a very busy part of town. Working up here in the mountains is different from anywhere else. The winters are long and we can't do much construction when the ground is frozen solid. But during the warmer months, we are constantly on the move. Our office in the complex is where we keep our tools and talk about the next jobs. It’s a simple room with a couple of desks and a lot of maps of the local area. People around Leh know us because we’ve been around for quite some time. We don't have a website or do any fancy advertising; news just travels by word of mouth in a place like this. It’s a small community, and we try to help out where we can. Sometimes the altitude makes the work feel a bit slower, but we’re used to it. The view from Fort Road is pretty nice, even when we’re just stuck doing paperwork. Fort Road is always full of tourists and locals, especially near the old bus stand. We see a lot of life happening right outside our window while we are planning out the next building site or checking our supplies. We’re just a bunch of local guys who know how to build in this specific climate. It’s a tough environment, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
