Soma Adventure

We are out in Stok Leh, which is a bit of a distance from the main Leh Ho center. Soma Adventure is where we manage everything. Stok is a beautiful place, much quieter than the town. We can see the mountains clearly from here. Our setup is very basic. We use a lot of local knowledge because we live right here. We aren't a big company with many branches. We are just a few people who love the Stok area and the rest of Ladakh 194101. We spend our mornings checking the horses or the vehicles, depending on what is needed. The air feels different here. It’s more peaceful. We have some old desks and a lot of gear stored in the back. Sometimes our neighbors come by for tea and we talk about the harvest or the weather. It is a very grounded way of working. We don't use fancy brochures. We just show people the maps and explain how to get around. Working from Stok gives us a different perspective. We are closer to the mountains and further from the noise. It suits us well. We don't have a lot of rules, we just make sure everything is safe and ready to go. It is an honest living and we are happy with how things are. Even when it’s cold, we stay here and get everything ready for the next group of visitors.
