Shesrig Foundation

Shesrig Foundation is located up in Leh, Ladakh. We are at Choskor House in Goksum, which is part of the Shesrig Ladakh setup. Our address is 194101 in Jammu & Kashmir. It is a beautiful place but the winters can be very tough. We work out of a traditional-style building that has been adapted for our needs. It is a small foundation, and we do not have many staff members. Most of us are locals who know the area well. We spend our time managing the various things the foundation is involved with. It is a quiet office for the most part, except when we have guests. We do not have any fancy corporate branding. We just have our name and our work. Leh is a unique place to be based, and we feel lucky to be here. The office at Choskor House is simple. We have wooden desks and some old heaters for when it gets cold. Shesrig Foundation is not about looking important. We are just trying to do what we can from our corner of India. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we just deal with it. We do not have a big marketing budget or a polished image. It is just real people doing real work in a very high-altitude town. We like the pace of life here. It is different from the big cities.
