Rural Tourism

Rural Tourism is located out in Sakti Leh, which is a bit different from being in the middle of the main town. Sakti is a quieter area, and that really suits how we do things. We are still under the Leh Ho 194101 address, but the vibe here is much more about the village and the fields. Our office is just a plain room where we handle the day-to-day work. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny storefront. Mostly, it’s just us talking to our neighbors and the people who want to see the rural side of Ladakh. Life moves with the seasons here. In the summer, we are busy with people wanting to visit the monasteries and the farms. In the winter, we mostly stay inside and keep the heater going. We focus on the local ways of doing things because that is what we know. If you come to see us in Sakti, you’ll see the real side of the region, away from the souvenir shops. We don't have a lot of corporate rules. We just treat people like guests and tell them the best way to see the land without rushing. It is a humble way to work, but it feels right to us. We enjoy the quiet and the chance to show people the place we call home.
