Open Hand Espresso Bar & Bistro

Open Hand Espresso Bar & Bistro is located up here in Leh, Ladakh. You can find us at Leh Ho, which is quite close to the Padma Guest House. Being in this part of the world means things move a bit slower, and we like it that way. We started this place to give people a spot to sit down with a coffee or a meal while they're exploring the area. The air is thin up here at 194101, but the coffee is always kept hot. It’s a small bistro, nothing too complicated or over the top. We get a lot of travelers who are just passing through Leh Ho and need a break from the long road. The space is simple, with some tables and chairs tucked away near the guest house. We don’t have a massive menu, but what we have is made right here in the back. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients because getting supplies up to Ladakh isn't always easy, especially in winter, but we make do with what's available. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, unless a big group of trekkers comes in all at once. We’ve got local staff who know the area well and can tell you where to go next if you're lost. It’s just a basic espresso bar where you can relax for a bit. No bells and whistles, just a local spot in a beautiful part of the mountains.
