Northern Land Tours & Travels is situated on Changspa Road, right near Hotel Padmailing. This part of Leh Ho is a bit more relaxed than the very center of the market, which we quite like. We are a small team of locals who have lived in Leh Ladakh our whole lives. We started this because we know the area so well and wanted to help people get around without too much trouble. Our office is a simple place where we keep our files and meet with travelers who need a car or some advice on where to go. We don't use any big marketing talk because we think the land speaks for itself. Mostly, we just make sure the drivers are reliable and the vehicles are in good shape for the mountain passes. The roads here can be really rough, so you need a good car and someone who knows how to handle the curves. We spend a lot of time sorting out the paperwork for restricted areas, which can be a bit of a chore, but it’s necessary for getting to certain valleys. During the winter, we mostly stay inside and wait for the snow to clear so the season can start again. We don’t have a huge mission or anything like that; we just want to do a decent job so people can see the places we grew up in. If you’re walking down Changspa Road, you’ll see our sign.
