Mountain Runner

You can find Mountain Runner over at the Samphel Complex. We are quite close to the Air Leh area, so we hear the planes coming in all the time. It’s a bit of a walk from the main market, but we like it here. It is a bit quieter. Our office has a lot of energy because we are always moving. We have some old benches and a lot of bags piled up. We don't really do the whole professional office look. It’s more of a place where friends and drivers hang out. We know the trails and the high roads around Leh Ho. Being in Ladakh 194101 means you have to be ready for anything. The weather changes in ten minutes. We spend our time checking gear and making sure the logistics are sorted. It’s a lot of talking on the radio and checking the time. We don't have a big philosophy. We just like being outdoors and making sure people see the real side of this place. The Samphel Complex is a good spot for us. We can see the hills from the door. Sometimes we just close up early if the work is done. It’s a simple business run by local people who just enjoy the mountains. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just do it. When you visit us, you might find us drinking tea or looking over a map for the next day's route. We just take it as it comes.
