We are based out in Skara Manlay Bagh in Leh. It’s a little bit away from the main center, which gives us a bit more space. Mhat Mamosthong High Adventure Travels is a local business that focuses on the tougher trips around Ladakh. We don't have a polished office with glass walls. Our place is simple and reflects the kind of work we do. Skara is a good neighborhood, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent talking to climbers or organizing heavy-duty vehicles for the high passes. We know the 194101 area like the back of our hand. We don't use a lot of marketing talk because the mountains speak for themselves. If the road is blocked, we say it's blocked. We don't make false promises about the weather. It’s just us and a few reliable drivers and guides. We keep the equipment in good shape because that’s what matters out there. You won't find us spending much on decorations. We’d rather spend that on maintaining the jeeps. If you come down to Skara Manlay Bagh, you’ll see we are just regular people who love this region. We’ve lived through many winters here and seen how the tourism has changed. Our focus is just on the logistics of getting people into the high country safely. It’s hard work, but we like it and we know the land.
