Lingchen Tours is right on Changspa Road here in Leh Ho. It’s a busy street with lots of people walking around, especially during the peak months when the sun is out. We have been in this spot for quite a while, watching the town change and grow over the years. We are local people, born and raised in the Ladakh region, so we understand the rhythm of life here. It’s not like the big cities; things move a bit slower, and you have to respect the mountains. We spend our days helping travelers figure out their schedules, whether they want to go for a short walk or a long drive to the border areas. Since we are in the 194101 zip code, we deal with the high-altitude reality every single day. We know which roads get muddy when the snow melts and which ones are likely to be closed by a landslide. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just arrange the transport and make sure people have a place to sleep that isn't too uncomfortable. Most of our work is done through word of mouth, as people stop by our office on Changspa Road after hearing about us from someone else. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us. We like meeting new people and showing them a bit of our home without making a big deal out of it.
