If you walk up Stupa Road toward the Shanti Stupa, you’ll find us. We are Julley World Travel, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. In Leh, everyone says "Julley" for everything—hello, goodbye, thank you—so we thought it was a good name for what we do. Our spot is right near the Shanti area, which is a bit quieter than the main market sometimes, though it still gets plenty of foot traffic. We are just local people who know these mountains like the back of our hands. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us who grew up around here and decided to help travelers find their way. Sometimes people come in looking lost or worried about the altitude, so we give them some water and tell them to sit for a bit. We organize trips to the usual spots like Pangong or Nubra, but we also know the smaller villages that don't get as much attention. The roads around Leh Ladakh can be tricky, especially after a big rain or when the snow starts melting in the spring. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking if the passes are clear. It is a lot of work, but it is what we know. We try to keep things straightforward and don't make promises we can't keep because the weather here does whatever it wants anyway. We just keep the office open.
