D Lonpo Travel

Our office is tucked into the Hemis Complex in Zangsti, right here in Leh. If you’ve spent any time walking around the town center, you’ve probably passed by us. D Lonpo Travel is a small operation. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us sitting in the office, answering phones and helping people figure out their way around Ladakh. The Zangsti area gets quite lively during the season. We’ve seen many changes in the streets over the years, but the mountains stay the same. We handle the local travel stuff. It could be a permit or just a car to the lakes. We don't promise anything impossible. The roads are what they are. Sometimes there’s a landslide or the snow is too deep. We try to be straight with people about that. Our address is 194101, which is the main Leh area. Being in the Hemis Complex means we see a lot of foot traffic. It’s a simple room with a few chairs and a desk. Most of our work happens on the phone or out at the taxi stand. We know the local drivers and the shortcuts that actually work. It’s a local business, run by people who grew up seeing these peaks every day. Stop by if you’re near the complex. We aren't fancy, just locals who know the way and the people who live around here.
