Yashodeep Educational Foundation

Out here in Pangaon, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. We are located at Gat No 685, right on Vyankat Manohar Gite’s property in the Renapur area of Latur. It is a quiet place, mostly surrounded by fields and local houses. We set up Yashodeep Educational Foundation because we saw kids around here who needed a bit of extra help with their schooling. It isn't a massive operation with a glass building. It’s more of a practical setup where we can sit down and talk to parents or organize things for the students. Some days are dusty, and other days the mud makes it hard to get around, but we stay busy. We spend a lot of time just talking to people in the village. It’s not always easy to explain what we do in fancy words, so we don't try. We just show up and do the work. The address might seem hard to find if you aren't from around Latur, but everyone in Pangaon knows where the Gite family stays. We’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times and the internet is sometimes a bit slow, but we manage. It feels right being here where the people actually live. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just local people who care about how the next generation is going to do. It’s simple work, really.
