Shree Hospital

Being located in Walunj Gao makes our hospital a very busy spot. We are right near the Bajaj company and not far from the Pandharpur Nagar Highway Road. Because of the highway, we see a lot of people who are just passing through or workers from the nearby factories. The noise from the trucks is something we have just grown used to over the years. It’s not a quiet, peaceful hospital by any means. We are right in the middle of all the action. The building is simple and we use every bit of space we have for beds and equipment. There isn't much room for anything extra. Most of the time, the waiting area is crowded with families sitting on the benches. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. Sometimes the receptionist is helping move a stretcher and the nurses are handling the billing. It gets a bit chaotic on Mondays when everyone seems to show up at once. We don't have any high-tech decorations or fancy carpets. It’s just white walls and tile floors that we scrub down constantly. The doctors stay in the housing nearby so they can get here fast if something happens at night. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially when the power is hit or miss, but we keep the doors open and do the work that needs doing every day for the community.
