Down in Chakur Village, things move at a different pace than the big cities. We set up our food processing unit here in the Chaporl Mandalam area because it made sense for being close to where things are grown. It is a fairly simple setup. We have the main processing area where the machines stay busy most of the day. A lot of our time is spent just making sure the raw materials coming in are good enough to use. In a small village like Chakur, everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. We have a small crew and we all just pitch in where it is needed, whether that is loading crates or checking the temperature on the equipment. It isn't a glamorous job and the floor usually has some scraps on it by the afternoon. We deal with the local farmers and try to keep things moving so the food doesn't sit around too long. The road out here isn't always the smoothest so getting trucks in and out takes a bit of patience. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to stay on top of the orders. It is a lot of manual work and paying attention to small details. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just us in our work clothes making sure the bags get filled and sealed properly before they head out. It is a lot of work but it keeps us busy.
