Down the way to Nath Vally in Kanchanwadi, you’ll find Sri Clinic And Nursing Home. We are situated in the Sara Harmony area. It’s a bit of a mix here because we have the clinic for people just dropping in and then the nursing home part for those who need to stay a bit longer. It’s a busy house. There is always a nurse walking down the hall or someone asking for a glass of water. We try to keep the place tidy but with people coming and going all day, it’s a challenge. The road outside can get a bit dusty during the dry season. We’ve had patients stay with us for just a night and some who are here for a week or more while they recover. We don't have a big corporate management team or anything like that. It’s just the owners and the staff who have been here for years. We eat our lunch in a small breakroom in the back. The rooms for the patients are basic but they have what’s needed. We talk to the families a lot because they’re naturally worried. We try to give them the straight story without using too much medical jargon that no one understands. It’s a lot of hard work keeping a nursing home running twenty-four hours a day but we manage it. We’re just a local business trying to do right by the folks in Kanchanwadi.
