Shrinath Clinic

Shrinath Clinic is out on Chinchwan Road in Wadwani. It’s a small place, really, just enough room for a consultation area and a little spot for people to wait their turn. Wadwani is the kind of town where news travels fast, so most people know we’re here on the road towards Chinchwan. The clinic is pretty straightforward. We have a few posters on the walls about health, and a desk that’s usually piled with some papers and a bottle of sanitizer. It gets pretty dusty out here because of the road, so we’re always wiping things down. The fans on the ceiling hum throughout the day to keep the air moving. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We’ve got a couple of examination tables and the basic kits we need. Most of our patients are local farmers or people working in the shops nearby. They come in with all sorts of things, from coughs to scrapes. We just talk to them, figure out what’s wrong, and do what we can. It’s a quiet life for the most part, though market days can get a bit more hectic with more people coming into town. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure the clinic stays open and ready for whoever needs us. It’s just how we do things here in Wadwani, without any extra polish or unnecessary complications in our daily work.
