Shree Mahavir Enterprises

Shree Mahavir Enterprises is located up on the third floor of Status Chamber in Rathi Market. Being in L. Chapsi, it’s always crowded downstairs with people moving goods and rickshaws blocking the path. Our office, Room 302, is usually stacked with samples and old files. We deal with various supplies and products, mostly wholesale stuff that goes out to other shops. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on where a shipment has reached. The market is loud, and you can hear the shouting and horns even from our windows. We have a small desk for the accounts and a few chairs for visitors who stop by for a chat and some tea. We’ve been in this market for a long time, so we know most of the other traders around here. Things can get stressful when a big order is delayed or if the prices change suddenly. We just try to keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s an old-school way of doing business, based on knowing people and keeping your word. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just use our phones and the ledger book. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to spend the day in the heart of the market.
