Shiv Shakti Dal Udyog

We’ve been at Plot No C51/2 in the MIDC area for a while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly trucks coming in and out all day long. Shiv Shakti Dal Udyog is what we call ourselves, and mostly we just deal with pulses. It’s a bit noisy around here with the machines running, but that is how things go in an industrial zone. We spend most of our time checking the bags and making sure everything is moving right. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, like when it rains really hard and the roads get muddy. We just keep at it though. There are a few of us working here, some have been around since the start. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get the work done. You see a lot of dust because of the grains, but that’s just part of the dal business. We usually start quite early in the morning before it gets too hot. By the time the afternoon sun hits the roof, we’re usually deep into the orders. People know us around the MIDC. We don’t really do much advertising or anything. We just focus on the bags of dal piled up in the corner. If you walk past C51/2, you’ll probably hear the humming of the graders. It’s just regular work for us, day in and day out.
