If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the bus stand on the main road in Chikalthan. It’s a busy little area in Kannad, especially when the buses are coming through from Aurangabad. The clinic isn't very large, but it’s right there where everyone passes by. We get a lot of people who are just traveling through and need something looked at quickly. The dust from the road can be a bit much in the summer, but we keep the doors closed mostly. It’s a very local kind of place. Most of our regulars are farmers from the nearby villages or people who work at the shops along the main road. We see a bit of everything, from fevers to small injuries. It’s just me and a helper here most days. The bus stand is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics to help people out. Sometimes it gets crowded when a bus drops off a lot of people at once. We’ve been in this spot for a good few years now. You get to hear all the gossip from the travelers while they wait. It’s a loud, lively place to work. We just try to be helpful to anyone who walks in off the street. There is always something going on here because of the road, and we just fit into that daily routine.
