We are located at 317/2 on the Lonar Mangalvedhe road in the Solapur district. The place is called SHAMBHOMAHADEVA MULTI URBAN NIDHI LIMITED. It is a bit of a mouthful of a name, but folks around here just know where we are. Lonar is a small place, and our office sits right there on the main route. It is a basic building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our desks and some chairs for visitors. We handle the money stuff for the local people who live in and around Mangalvedhe. Mostly, it’s about giving them a safe place to put their savings or getting them a small loan when things get tight. We don't have any high-tech gadgets, just the usual computers and a lot of registers. The dust from the road sometimes comes in, so we are always cleaning the surfaces. It’s a local operation run by people who live right here. We know the farmers and the small shop owners who come through our door. The hours are regular, but sometimes we stay late if the books don't balance or if someone comes in right at closing time with an urgent matter. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to be some big city bank. We just want to make sure the members' money is handled right and they can get help when they need it.
