Sai English School

Out here in Deoni, which is a bit of a distance inside Latur, we run Sai English School. It’s a quiet enough place compared to the big cities, but the school gets plenty busy once the sun comes up. We have kids from all over the local area coming here to learn. Since we are an English medium school, a lot of our time is spent helping the students get comfortable with the language, which isn't always their first one at home. The building is straightforward, nothing too complicated about it. We have a few rows of classrooms and a small area where the children can play during their breaks. The staff is mostly people from around here who wanted to work close to home. Sometimes the electricity goes out or we run low on chalk, but we just carry on with the day. Parents in Deoni often stop by to chat with the teachers about how their kids are doing in their subjects. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We don't have a big library or a fancy computer lab, but we make sure the students have their books and enough space to write. It’s just a regular school doing its best to provide an education to the kids in this part of Latur. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the students show up on time.
