Premprince Boer Goat Farm & Agro (Opc) Private Limited

Our farm, Premprince Boer Goat Farm & Agro (Opc) Private Limited, is situated in the village of Ralga. This is part of the Ahmadpur taluka in the Latur district. It is quite a distance from any big city, so we are surrounded by open land and other people working the soil. We decided to focus on Boer goats because they are a sturdy breed that does well in our climate. Life at the farm in Ralga is pretty much what you would expect. It is a lot of feeding, cleaning, and watching over the herd. We don't have a big corporate structure since it is an OPC, so things are kept very simple. The office is just a small room where we keep the essential papers and some basic supplies. Most of the time, we are outside in the pens or out in the fields. Latur can be a very dry place, especially in the summer months, so we have to be careful about managing our water resources. People from around the Ahmadpur area often come by to see the goats or to talk about agro-business. We don't have a professional sales team. It is just us showing people what we have and how we do things. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and that makes things stressful for everyone, but we manage. It is a quiet life out here, dedicated to the animals and the land we work on every day. We just take things one season at a time.
