The shop is located at F - 25 in the MIDC area of Latur District. Being in the industrial zone means we get a lot of workers and technicians coming in looking for parts. The shelves are pretty packed with boxes of switches, coils of wire, and different kinds of electrical components that people need for their factories or homes. It’s not the most organized place, as things tend to get moved around a lot when we are searching for a specific fuse or a particular tool. You can usually find us behind the counter or back in the small storage area trying to find where we put the latest shipment. The floor is often dusty because of the trucks driving by outside, and there is always a bit of a hum from some of the equipment we are testing. We spend our time talking to customers about their wiring problems or explaining which bulb might last longer for their needs. It is a lot of small talk and heavy lifting when the big crates of supplies arrive once or twice a week. We don’t do anything too complicated, just selling the parts and helping people find what they are looking for to keep their lights on. It’s a steady job and we have become a familiar face for many of the regulars around this part of Latur. That is what goes on daily for us at N Datta Electricals.
